White and Brown Crab Meat
Pot caught by local day boats - Portland Isle and Lucky Seven from Weymouth Harbour. The white meat is 100% hand picked from legs and claws, no machinery is used to extract the meat. The Brown meat is considered more flavourful than the white meat. Perfect spread on toast or added to cooked recipies for depth. Also ideal for making sauces due to its rich flavour.
Our crab is always cooked from fresh crab. No additives, just pure crab meat.
Rich in vitamins and minerals, crab meat is also low in fat and contains Omega 3. Also helps provide protection from heart disease and aids brain development.
Responsibly fished using traditional pots.
Ready to eat, keep refrigerated. Consume within date on pack, usually within 5 days of receiving. Ideally eaten fresh but can be frozen.
Isle of Man Queen Scallops
Known affectionately as ‘Queenies’ in the Isle of Man, our Queen scallop meat is delicately sweet in flavour, extremely versatile and can be used with a wide variety of flavours and cuisine. They really are gems from the Irish Sea. Each half-shell queen scallop is the size of a 10p piece and is hand prepared to leave you with the meat and roe on the shell. Ready to cook, not to be frozen.
Palourde Clams
Our Palourde Clams are sustainably caught from Poole Harbour, a large natural harbour in Dorset. These clams offer a real taste of the sea with their fresh, salty aroma and sweet flavour. High in protein and a great source of zinc, try them in a delicious paella or steamed with wine.
Place your clams in a bowl, cover with a damp cloth (to stop them drying out) and place in the fridge. Do not store them submerged in tap water as they will die. Do not freeze raw clams. Discard any Clams that are open and do not close when lightly tapped. The Clams are depurated to ensure they are full of flavour and safe to eat. As a guide 1k clams will yield 3 portions.
